This story is about Iago and Desmond, they learn that their lives are fueled by the two parts of the id: life, meaning sex, and death, meaning violence. Iago is the embodiment of Life. Desmond, death. they have been reincarnated for thousands of generations. They are helplessly drawn to each other.
They carefully dance aroud the fact that at a pre-destined point in thier lives Desmond will go insane (like actually nuts-o, amniesia, black-outs, violent fits) and either die (after Iago succeeds in getting him in bed) or kill Iago. They re-incarnate every time Desmond goes bananas.
